Join the ANCA’s two-day Fly-In to Washington DC on March 15th and 16th.
Registration for the ANCA Fly-In is Free. Simply visit http://anca.org/ancaflyin and follow the simple instructions to register online. We’ll contact you to coordinate your Congressional visits. Participants are required to cover transportation and lodging costs.

Meetings for registered ANCA Fly-In participants will be coordinated by the ANCA. Groups will depart from the ANCA offices at 1711 N Street NW, Washington DC. Fly-In participants can coordinate with the ANCA Eastern Region and ANCA Western Region staff to meet directly on Capitol Hill.

Planning your Trip: Plan on arriving in Washington, DC on Tuesday, March 15th early afternoon to participate in the Capitol Hill reception. Departure should be planned for Thursday March 17th.
Air Travel: There are three airports close to Washington, DC — Reagan National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore Washington International (BWI), of which Reagan National is the closest to the Capitol and has the most convenient transportation options.
By Train: Your Washington DC destination is Union Station, which is blocks from the US Capitol and a short metro / cab ride to the ANCA offices.

ANCA Fly-In Focus:
Among the key messages we will deliver to Congress are the following:
Peace: Please help save lives, avert war and create the conditions for a fair and enduring peace by demanding the immediate implementation of the Royce-Engel proposals for Nagorno Karabakh: 1) The withdrawal of snipers and heavy arms, 2) the addition of OSCE observers, and 3) the deployment of gunfire locator systems. The U.S. government, the OSCE and both Armenia and Artsakh have endorsed these proposals. Only Azerbaijan ‘s objections are preventing their implementation. (A review of the ANCA’s recent pro-Artsakh advocacy can be found at www.anca.org/artsakhadvocacy.)
Prosperity: Please help remove a major barrier to U.S.-Armenia business ties, the double taxation of U.S./Armenia profits, through the negotiation of a long overdue bilateral Tax Treaty. This accord, building upon last year’s landmark U.S.-Armenia Trade and Investment Framework Agreement, would help create jobs, foster hope, and generate economic opportunity in both countries. Please also support continued U.S. aid to Armenia and increased assistance to Nagorno Karbakh. The Artsakh aid, in particular, is urgently needed for de-mining of civilian areas and the badly needed expansion of a regional rehabilitation center providing health case services to disabled children and adults from throughout the Caucasus area and beyond.
Justice: Please help ensure a principled official U.S. government stand in support of justice for the Armenian Genocide, by supporting the adoption of H.Res.154, the Armenian Genocide Truth + Justice Resolution, and S.Res.140 in the U.S. Senate. The House resolution is a reparations-oriented measure that goes beyond recognition, actively seeking to engage the full force of United States diplomacy in ending Turkey ‘s denial of both truth and justice for this still-unpunished crime against humanity.
